Our Core Team

Ren Hanami began the World of Ninja Mom with a movie script about a female ninja action hero followed by a TV pilot script about her daughter a fashionista ninja. While studying bujinkan ninjustsu from her sensei, Don Schmidt, she discovered his artist skills were perfect to illustrate her books and comics. Ren teamed up with producer, David J. Kono, and began producing festival award-winning short films which has led to a roster of feature films and web series in development.

(Ninja Mom Artist) finds inspiration in the cartoons, books, movies, and comics of his childhood, and the philosophy of his martial arts teacher to, “Keep Going.”
