I want to thank everyone who came and bought books and candy. 15% of the proceeds are going to Children\u2019s Hospital Los Angeles and their Literally Healing Program. They give a book to every child at the hospital. Thanks also to Braedon Schmidt for manning the sales department!<\/p>\n<p>We had so much fun visiting with friends, family and Americana neighbors. I read the book for two storytimes. Everyone walked away with a Ninja Mom sticker and everyone who bought the book also took home a Ninja Mom Shuriken Throwing Star Cookie! Sugarfina sampled all kinds of tasty candies and passed out punch. It was certainly a sweet event!&nbsp;Don\u2019s signature on each book was also a work of art.<\/p>\n<p>I\u2019ve put together a slideshow below.
